The Monastery of Saints
Sarkis and Backos is located in the outer eastern parts of Achkout.
Placed in a typical natural Mediterranean landscape, in the heart of a
narrow fertile valley, it is surrounded by immense forests of Quercus calliprinos and Quercus infectoria.
While the first oak species is evergreen, the second, being deciduous
and is still in use by mountaineers as wood charcoal for traditional
heating source in small agricultural villages of Keserwan.

Oelle's electric vehicle
Work has begun to adapt one of Oelle's vehicles to a new design by Mr Paolo Pasquini for the RAMseS project.
